Description
We will pick up our bikes near the Palacio Cantón Museum on Paseo Montejo. We will go on the bicycle lanes on an avenue with trees and palms that will protect us from the sun's rays. We will stop at the Monument to the Homeland where I will give you a brief explanation. There you will have time to take photos because it is a unique space in Mexico. We will continue back stopping at four different beautiful mansions. I will tell you who inhabited them and their relationship with the golden age of Yucatan. In the second half, we will go on a very safe street directly to the Plaza Mayor of the city to show you buildings such as the cathedral and the house of the conquistadors dating from the colonial era, parks created in the 19th century, the main theater seen from the outside , among other attractions. At the end, we will go to the Santa Anna market to refresh ourselves with a fruit drink of your choice. We will return to the same meeting place to leave our bicycles on Paseo Montejo. At all the stops there is shade and in others we can walk a bit to see more carefully the attractions that I will show you. The duration of the bike tour is 2 hours and a half covering about 4 miles or 7 kilometers. The entire surface that we will cover is totally flat.Includes
Bicycles included. You can choose different sizes and colors. They can be adjusted to your height. We also have bicycles for children, bicycles with seats for small children (two and five years old), tricycles for adults where two passengers can go in the back and one in front pulling the vehicle, and tandem bicycles. During the tour you will listen to the indications and reference points on the places through which we pass through a loudspeaker from the guide. We will stop briefly at some strategic points to detail more information and, if you are interested, you can take pictures. The first part of the tour is done along the bike lanes. The second part is carried out through the streets of the historic center of Mérida. Includes a non-alcoholic drink, either halfway or at the end of the tour in one of the markets located in a historic, colorful and very lively neighborhood of the city.Important Information
