Historic center of Puebla

Located about 100 kilometers east of Mexico, at the foot of the Popocatepetl volcano, the city of Puebla was founded ex nihilo in 1531. It has preserved great religious buildings, such as the cathedral dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, magnificent palaces, such as the archbishopric, and a large number of houses with tiled walls.

The city's baroque neighborhood is unique in its kind, due to the local adaptation of the new aesthetic concepts that emerged from the fusion of the architectural and artistic styles of Europe and America.
