Description
Start your day tour with a drive from Mexico City to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. Each year the monarchs fly 5,000 kilometers from Canada to Mexico, where they spend the winter.
To get to the sanctuary you’ll walk through the woods and learn about what butterflies eat, how they reproduce, and their lifecycle.
Admire the Wedding Veil Waterfall, which is an impressive cascade named after the form it creates. Visit the magical town of Valle de Bravo and the San Francisco de Asis Mission Church, considered the highest temple in the State of Mexico.
