Cancun is divided into two parts, the "hotel zone" and the "downtown", all the bars and nightclubs in the hotel zone are cozy and gay-friendly; However, you will find the officially LGBT bars in downtown Cancun. It's a short taxi ride from the hotel zone, here are the main ones:

This gay bar in downtown Cancun puts on some great drag shows. A good option if you are looking for a rowdy gay night, there is no coverage (except for special events). Happy hour is from 7:00 p.m. m. to 10:00 p.m. m.; and the show starts at 22:30.

"Once once" is a great nightclub where you can dance as it has an electronic music area and a pop lounge, you can also enjoy a street show, it has a terrace for smokers and the deck includes an open bar.
