Description
This 9-day tour covers several Magical Towns and cities in central Mexico, including Michoacán, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, and Acapulco. It suits travelers interested in cultural visits, artisan crafts, colonial architecture, and natural landscapes.
Day 1: Mexico City to Morelia
Departure at 08:00 to Michoacán. Stop in Tlalpujahua, a Magical Town, for a visit and free time. Continue to Morelia for a panoramic tour and free time. Overnight in Morelia.
Day 2: Morelia - Santa Clara del Cobre and Pátzcuaro
After an American breakfast, visit Santa Clara del Cobre to see artisan copper work. Proceed to Pátzcuaro, another Magical Town, for a visit and free time. Return to Morelia for the night.
Day 3: Morelia to Guanajuato via Cuitzeo
Following breakfast, stop in Cuitzeo, a recently designated Magical Town, for a visit and free time. Then continue to Guanajuato for a panoramic visit and free time. Overnight in Guanajuato.
Day 4: Guanajuato to Dolores Hidalgo and San Miguel de Allende
After breakfast, visit Dolores Hidalgo and then San Miguel de Allende, both Magical Towns. Explore the streets, shops, and scenery. Overnight in San Miguel de Allende.
Day 5: San Miguel to Querétaro, Bernal, and Cuernavaca
Depart for Querétaro, enjoy a panoramic visit and free time. Next, stop in Bernal for free time. Continue to Cuernavaca for lodging.
Day 6: Cuernavaca and Taxco
Visit Cuernavaca's cathedral, Zócalo, and Palacio de Cortés. Then proceed to Taxco, known for its colonial streets and Santa Prisca temple-cathedral. Free time to explore. Overnight in Taxco.
Day 7: Taxco to Acapulco
Travel through scenic landscapes and the Autopista del Sol highway to Acapulco. Afternoon free to relax. Overnight in Acapulco.
Day 8: Acapulco Free Day
Full day at leisure to enjoy Acapulco’s beaches and nightlife. Overnight in Acapulco.
Day 9: Acapulco to City of Origin
