You will start at the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP), the movement’s first major public commission under José Vasconcelos, where Diego Rivera painted entire courtyards celebrating a new Mexican identity.
The tour continues to Palacio de Bellas Artes, home to some of the movement’s most important murals, including Rivera’s reconstructed 'Man, Controller of the Universe' alongside works by Orozco and Siqueiros. The final stop is the Diego Rivera Mural Museum, where you will see 'Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park,' one of Rivera’s most iconic works.
