Description

Immerse yourself in a vibrant experience through the cultural heart of Mexico City. Departing from downtown, the tour begins with a visit to a local artisans' co-operative, where you can discover handmade pieces and directly support the work of talented Mexican artists. Your adventure continues in Coyoacán, one of the city's most emblematic neighborhoods, famous for its colonial atmosphere, cobblestone streets, lively plazas, and rich artistic tradition. This picturesque area is ideal for discovering the stories of key figures in Mexican culture. If you choose the option that includes a museum, you will have the opportunity to visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, known as the “Blue House,” or the more recent Casa Kahlo, also called the “Red House.” At the Casa Azul, you can learn about Frida's life up close through her original works, personal belongings, and an outstanding collection of Mexican folk art. In contrast, the Red House offers a contemporary and immersive experience, featuring multisensory exhibitions that celebrate Frida's imagination, creative intensity, and artistic legacy. The visit includes a digital guide in English and Spanish, allowing you to explore the museum at your own pace. The tour continues to Ciudad Universitaria, home to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can admire impressive murals created by renowned Mexican artists, the iconic Central Library, and the Olympic Stadium, whose architecture evokes the shape of a volcano. The experience culminates in Xochimilco, where traditions are still alive in its ancient canals. Those who choose the tour with lunch option will first enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant before boarding a traditional trajinera boat. Sail amid music, floating vendors, and colorful scenery, and let yourself be carried away by the festive atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. This full-day tour brings together pre-Hispanic heritage, Mexican art, and local cuisine to offer you a unique experience at some of the most memorable sites in Mexico City.
