Description

Begin with an introduction to the museum´s architecture to learn why it was built with that specific design, which depicts Mesoamerican architecture and culture. Throughout the tour, you will learn about the main aspects of Mesoamerica while visiting the art and main remains of many of these cultures. You will learn about their written language, numeric system, aesthetics, and cosmogony or religion. Afterward, you will visit three different galleries (Teotihuacan, Mexica, and Mayan) to see the highlights of what you have just learned about Mesoamerica. Gaining an overview of these historic cultures’ stories, beliefs, and mentalities can help make the visit more understandable and friendly.
