Guided tour of fruit plantations in a cart called “truck” The Carlota cenote will welcome you with its crystal-clear waters to refresh you after the tour of the hacienda. This cenote owes its name to the fact that in 1865 the Empress of Mexico, Carlota, on a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula bound for Campeche, arrived in Mucuyché and became the first person to bathe in its waters. In the “Azul Maya” cenote, a cave type, you will discover why the ancient Mayans considered these sites sacred. The local gastronomy of the Hacienda Mucuyche Cenote Restaurant complements this experience in the Mayab de Yucatán.
