Description
The day starts early with a bus ride to 'Paso de Cortés', a historic place where the conquistadors, led by Hernán Cortés, passed through in 1519 on their way to Mexico-Tenochtitlan. Here we will make a brief stop to enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains.
Then, you will be transferred to 'La Joya', where we will begin our hike. Along the trail, you will be able to marvel at the changing landscapes, ranging from seasonal snowfall to the rich local flora and fauna. The tranquility of the place enhances the breathtaking views of the Valley of Mexico.
This tour will give you the opportunity to capture spectacular photographs and enjoy the contact with nature. You will test your limits as you ascend up to 4300 meters above sea level. Keep in mind your lung capacity and follow the indications of the local guide to have a pleasant and safe experience.
