Description

This is not just a simple walk: it is a historical journey narrated as if you were inside the original chronicles. For 2.5 hours, you will walk through scenes that were once the capital of an empire, the seat of the viceroyalty, and the epicenter of revolutions. Your tour guide—a narrator passionate about history and art—will take you from the mysticism of Tenochtitlán to the cultural effervescence of the 20th century, weaving together stories with curious facts and scenes that you can vividly imagine. You'll hear how the bells of the Metropolitan Cathedral sounded in colonial times and how the plaza was filled with merchants and town criers. You will arrive at the Palace of Fine Arts to contemplate its mixture of styles and learn about the events that marked its construction.
