'Xpu-Ha', meaning 'two-water estuary,' is a beach very near Puerto Aventuras, in the middle between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, which is ideal for diving, kayaking, and snorkeling. Its clear and pristine water is suitable for swimming and diving in the vast reefs surrounding this location. The same management rents the equipment needed to carry out whatever activity you desire.
 
North of the beach is a rocky spot and a bay where you may enjoy the vast number of fish that reside there. This same cove also connects with one of the most important in the region, the spectacular «Manatí Cenote».
 
The hammocks, the lounge chair, and the umbrellas are on the shores of the beach, and all you need for a relaxing vacation. There is also a restaurant in front of the beach where you can taste delicious seafood or various typical dishes of the peninsula.
 
HOW TO GET?
 
Xpu-ha is situated in the Riviera Maya between Puerto Aventura and Akumal beach, just a few minutes from Playa del Carmen, km 265 on Federal Highway No. 307. There are signposts on the route that guides you directly to the destination; be aware that this is only an unpaved route.
 
SUGGESTIONS:
 
  • Open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., from Monday through Sunday.
  • Alcohol drinks are not allowed. 
  • If you go out for a day and you want to be on the beachfront, take all you need to cover with the sun.
  • Follow all the security procedures.
  • Take your camera to capture the seaside countryside.
  • Remember to keep all your rubbish clean in the spot provided.
  • Animals are not authorized by municipal laws.
