Playa Pescadores

Low cost beach activities.

Tulum, one of the safest ways to spend a weekend and rest days in Quintana Roo is located just one hour away from Playa del Carmen and almost two hours from Cancun.

Famous for its legendary city of walled sand and the heritage of the Mayan culture, this commune also offers its visitors some of the country's most beautiful beaches. This has to be proven in Playa Pescadores, a site with free access that can be a good alternative for saving costs.

Playa Pescadores, which has parking, showers, restrooms, bars, and restaurants for all tastes, is also within walking distance of the archaeological zone and hotels where you can spend an exceedingly nice night enjoying the beauty of the Mexican Caribbean.

There is a lot of activity on this beach and here are the majority of boats devoted to transporting visitors to snorkel and swimming with the ocean tortoises. Fishermen beach tours are available for families, but they can also be hired in person, but the costs are higher.

Besides the vessels, fishing boats often go to sea too early to get the new fish they sell on the market.

In general, like the rest of the Cozumel coast, it's a lovely beach. We advise you to take caution in boats if you wish to swim here and find places where they are not in transit to prevent accidents.
