Description
Discover and experience one of the most important spiritual journeys in Mexico on a profound, emotional, and deeply meaningful Guadalupe tour, designed so that each step has a purpose and each visit a reason. The experience begins with an explanation of the Guadalupan Code given by a certified guide, where you will learn the true meaning of the symbols in the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe: the starry mantle, the moon, the angel, the colors, and its hidden message within the Indigenous and spiritual context of the 16th century. This introduction is crucial, as it will enable you to understand the image in a completely different way before entering the sanctuary. After this explanation, we will proceed to receive the blessing, a special moment of contemplation that prepares the spirit for entering the New Basilica of Guadalupe, where you will be able to behold the original image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, suspended above the main altar. Here, you will have time to observe the image, reflect, give thanks, and make your requests at one of the most important centers of faith in the world. Next, we will visit the Old Basilica, a site steeped in history and devotion, where you will learn about its significance, its architecture, and the events that shaped its history. The tour continues with a climb up Tepeyac Hill, a place steeped in symbolism. We will enter the Capilla del Cerrito (Cerrito Chapel), the site of the Virgin Mary's third appearance, which also offers outstanding views of the shrine. We will continue through the Tepeyac Gardens, a tranquil space ideal for contemplation and spiritual rest, surrounded by nature and faith. Our next stop is the Capilla del Pocito, built on the site of the second apparition and renowned for its unique architecture and profound historical and religious significance. Finally, we will visit the Chapel of the Indigenous People and the Hermitage, sites that commemorate the first apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego, thus completing the full tour of the apparitions and providing an understanding of the spiritual and cultural significance of the Guadalupe message. It is recommended to take the tour before 4:00 PM, as the site begins to close at 5:00 PM, and after that time, only the new basilica is open.Includes
