Embark on a vibrant journey through the cultural heart of Mexico City! Departing from the city center, your adventure begins with a visit to a local artisan cooperative, where you can browse handcrafted goods and support talented Mexican makers. Next, explore Coyoacan, a neighborhood brimming with colonial charm, cobblestone streets, lush plazas, and a rich artistic legacy. This colorful borough sets the stage for discovering the stories of Mexico’s most iconic figures. For those who select the museum option, you will have the choice to visit either the Frida Kahlo Museum (La Casa Azul) or the new Casa Kahlo (Red House). The Blue House offers an intimate glimpse into Frida’s life, displaying her original artwork, personal belongings, and an inspiring collection of Mexican folk art. The Casa Kahlo presents a modern, immersive experience with multisensory exhibits celebrating her creativity, passion, and enduring legacy. A digital guide in English and Spanish is included, so you can learn about her life and work at your own pace as you explore the museum. The tour continues to Ciudad Universitaria, home to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the monumental murals by Mexico’s greatest artists, the iconic Central Library, and the Olympic Stadium shaped like a volcano.
