Experience one of the most iconic traditions of Mexico City with a Xochimilco trajinera boat tour filled with history, drinks, food, and great vibes.
Step aboard a colorful traditional trajinera and cruise through the famous Xochimilco canals, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last remnants of the ancient Aztec lake system. As we glide through the waterways, your local guide will share the fascinating history and legends of Xochimilco.
During the tour you’ll enjoy a tequila and mezcal tasting experience, learning the differences between these iconic Mexican spirits while sampling them the way locals do. Along the way we’ll enjoy Latin music, dancing, fun games, and great conversation, soaking in the festive atmosphere that has made Xochimilco one of the most unique experiences in Mexico City.
We’ll also make a special stop to meet the famous axolotl, the legendary amphibian that has become a symbol of Xochimilco and Mexican culture.
