Description
The day begins with hotel pickup or meeting at Revolution Monument. You will drive to Tlaxcala city center to tour the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, one of the oldest cathedrals in the area.
Next, take a panoramic tour including Casa del Ayuntamiento, Portals, and the Government Palace. Then descend to the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotlan, where legend says the Virgin appeared to Juan Diego Bernardino, offering miraculous water to cure illness and end local epidemics. Entry to the Basilica depends on availability.
You will have free time to purchase crafts and food before heading to Nanacamilpa. At night, embark on a two-hour walk in the magical forest to witness thousands of fireflies creating a natural light display. After the tour, you will return to your hotel or the meeting point.
