Description

Your day begins at Casa Bruna, a coffee shop in La Condesa, Mexico City, where you meet your hosts over a fresh cup of Mexican coffee. From there, travel to a tranquil rural town surrounded by mountains.

Upon arrival, you meet Luis and his uncle Aurelio, genuine Mexican charros and expert horsemen. You will be introduced to your horse and learn basic charro riding techniques, including rein handling and saddle adjustment.

This is not a guided tour with scripts or rehearsed explanations. Instead, the experience flows naturally, with you, your horse, and charro companions exploring the countryside at your own pace. Some riders prefer a calm journey while others choose to explore new trails.

Ride through the town along cobblestone streets and narrow alleys, where you may stop to buy fresh fruit or handmade tortillas from local vendors. The route then opens into countryside trails passing hills, a hidden river, and wide plains with mountain views few travelers see.

Your safety and moments will be cared for throughout the day, including photos. After several hours on horseback, pause at a rustic mountain cabin for a traditional breakfast featuring fresh tacos made with handmade tortillas and local ingredients.

The day concludes with a relaxed ride back as the sun sets, leaving you with a deep sense of connection to the horses, charros, and landscape.

By the end of this experience, you will have shared stories, laughter, and food with professional charros while living a genuine day in Mexico’s countryside.
