Description
The tour begins at 7 pm at the main entrance of the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Palace). From there, you will explore the Historic Center, uncovering the capital’s darkest stories.
The first stop is the Church of Santa Catarina, where the legend of a priest who prayed with souls is revealed. The tour continues to Plaza de Santo Domingo, near the church that houses the chilling story of Casilda, a nun tied to the Holy Inquisition.
Next, visit the Metropolitan Cathedral adjacent to the Zócalo, a location full of legends, including one about the city center being submerged underwater for five years in the 17th century.
In front of the Casa de los Azulejos and the Convento de la Concepción, the guide will share secrets involving Doña Felipa and a pre-Hispanic witch. The experience concludes after two and a half hours back at the starting point, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Mexico City's spiritual history.
