The tour begins at Casa de los Azulejos on Madero Street in Downtown Mexico City, an architectural landmark where discussions focus on modern authors like Octavio Paz and artistic movements such as muralism. Next, the group visits a nearby church to explore the intellectual legacy of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, covering her contributions to religion, science, and poetry. Afterwards, the walk continues along the street examining baroque architecture and the development of Zócalo, with conversations about Mexican colonialism and pre-Hispanic roots.
