The tour begins at the Zócalo, Mexico City's main square, with an introduction to the city's origins and the arrival of Jewish immigrants.
Next, the group visits Plaza de Santo Domingo and the Palacio de Medicina to discuss the Inquisition period in Mexico.
The walk continues through the streets of the Jewish Quarter, where early Jewish settlers founded Mexico’s first synagogue. Nearby, you will see the Teatro del Pueblo (People’s Theater).
You will enter the Justo Sierra Historic Synagogue, established in 1941 and originally named Nidje Israel, reflecting the community’s growth during that time.
The tour concludes by walking through the neighborhoods that shaped Jewish daily life and discussing important Jewish figures in Mexican history, before returning to the Zócalo.
