Description

The tour begins in Coyoacán, a historic neighborhood with cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and lively plazas that have long attracted Mexico City’s artists and intellectuals. After an introduction to its cultural significance, you will have free time to explore on your own, perhaps visiting markets or sitting in a local café.

Next, depending on your choice, visit either the Blue House (Frida Kahlo Museum) or the Casa Kahlo. The Blue House offers an intimate look at Frida’s life with original artworks and personal items in her actual home. Casa Kahlo provides a modern, immersive exhibition featuring contemporary storytelling and sensory experiences that reinterpret her legacy.

The tour continues to Ciudad Universitaria, home to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Here, observe monumental murals, including the Central Library’s mosaic façade, which narrate Mexican history. This UNESCO World Heritage Site highlights the role of art in national identity.
