Description
The tour begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Mexico City. It is essential to have spent at least 24 hours in the city beforehand to acclimatize to the altitude. The guide will transport you to Nevado de Toluca, known as Xinantecatl in Nahuatl.
At the base of the volcano, you can choose to either take a truck near the crater or hike the entire way. Once at the crater, the group will decide whether to visit the Sun and Moon lagoons or continue to the summit, depending on weather and conditions.
You will have time to rest, take photos, and eat snacks at your chosen destination. After the visit, the group descends to the vehicle for the return trip to your accommodation.
