Description
The tour starts with hotel pickup and transfer to National Park Los Dinamos. The park contains Mexico City’s only living river. From there, you will hike to El Mirador Coconetla, where panoramic views of Mexico City await.
Along the trail, you may spot native wildlife including trees, mushrooms, birds, and possibly a Teporingo (a local rabbit). The hike is suitable for beginners and does not involve difficult sections. At the summit, enjoy a rest and a light meal, allowing time for photos. A professional camera is recommended, especially in the rainy season when mushrooms flourish. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
After the hike, visit a rustic restaurant near Río Magdalena. The menu includes quesadillas, tacos de cecina, chorizo, fresh fish, and beverages such as beer, pulque, and coffee. The restaurant stop lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The tour concludes with transport back to your hotel.
