This experience begins with an optional visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as La Casa Azul, where you can view original artworks, personal belongings, and rooms preserved from Frida's time. The museum highlights her connection to Mexico’s cultural and political history.
The food tasting journey showcases authentic local flavors curated with renowned Mexican Chef Abel Hernandez. You will visit two vibrant markets and street stalls to sample dishes like fresh tostadas, taco al pastor carved from the spit with pineapple, and a crispy torta de milanesa sandwich. Additional tastings include classic Mexican antojitos such as quesadillas, gorditas, and ceviche.
During the tour, stroll through Plaza Hidalgo, a historic square with colonial architecture and leafy surroundings, while your guide shares stories about Coyoacan’s artistic and cultural significance. You will also visit Parroquia San Juan Bautista, one of the city’s oldest churches, before ending your tour with handmade ice cream at Fuente de los Coyotes.
