Description

The tour continues to the Audiorama site, historically the location of the pre-Hispanic Cincalco Cave, believed to be a gateway between the living world and Mictlán, the underworld in Mexica culture. This area was also thought to be the residence of Tlaloc, the god of water. According to indigenous accounts, the last Toltec ruler, Huémac, died here in 1162, and the site is considered protective and energizing for visitors.

Next, visit Los Pinos, the former presidential residence now converted into the Los Pinos Cultural Complex, opened to the public in 2018. You will take a short break at Café Passmar, a well-regarded café within Chapultepec.
