Description
The experience begins with a visit to Tacuba Market, just steps from an ancient church dating back before the Spanish arrival. Here, you select fresh ingredients for your cooking session.
You will prepare salsas using four traditional methods: raw, fried, boiled, and roasted. Each method offers distinct flavors, chile varieties, and spice levels. While making salsas, you will also prepare and eat quesadillas using the freshly made sauces. Unlimited agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea) is included.
All salsas are plant-based. At the end of the class, you take home a jar of fresh salsa along with recipes.
This experience supports local commerce and can be conducted in multiple languages simultaneously. Custom times and private group cooking options are available, including dishes such as burritos, tamales, pozole, ceviche, and fish tacos.
