Description
The tour begins at the Indios Verdes cable car station, where you board the gondola ascending towards one of Mexico City’s most populated neighborhoods. Enjoy views as you travel to the northernmost town within the city limits.
At the end of the ride, local cab drivers—often family and friends—navigate through the bustling barrio, offering an immersive experience of Mexico City’s driving culture and daily life.
Next, you arrive at the Sierra de Guadalupe natural reserve. From there, a short hike leads to a pulqueria farm perched at the mountain’s edge. This site overlooks three states simultaneously: Mexico City, the State of Mexico, and Hidalgo. You will taste pulque, a naturally fermented beverage with centuries-old indigenous roots, prepared using traditional methods still practiced today.
