Description
Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Mexico City before traveling to Malintzin. The hike starts through a conifer forest, leading to a mountain meadow where the summit is visible.
As you ascend the mountain slope, enjoy landscapes featuring Pico de Orizaba, Mexico’s highest peak, on your left, and the twin volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl on your right.
Continue along the mountain ridge to reach the summit, the fifth-highest peak in Mexico at 4,500 meters above sea level. After enjoying a picnic lunch at the top, begin your descent to Malintzin for a rewarding meal before returning to Mexico City.
