Description
Discover the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City through the lens of art experts. Forget the classical tour about Mayas and Aztecs with tons of information and dense timelines. Instead, focus on the evolution of art in Mesoamerica.
Begin with the first migration to the continent, then explore the Olmecs, Maya, Teotihuacan, and finally the Mexicas (Aztecs). Ask yourself what art meant to them. Was it poetry? Life? Discover the answers to these questions.
This tour is ideal for open and curious minds that want to get beyond historical events and main narratives. Instead of randomly jumping through events, analyze patterns and similarities, even with other cultures like the Greeks, Romans, and Persians. The main goal is to analyze through the lens of humankind's development, not only America.
