Discover the history and essence of the city on a comprehensive tour of downtown Mexico City, with convenient round-trip transportation from your hotel. We will start at the Chapel of Jesús Nazareno, where the remains of Hernando Cortes are located. Next, we will visit the Monument to Mexican Identity in the Zócalo, featuring the symbol of an eagle devouring a snake perched on a cactus. We will continue to the Zócalo esplanade to admire the National Palace and then enter the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, where you will discover its 16 chapels and the remains of Mexico's first emperor, Agustín de Iturbide. We will then visit the Templo Mayor from the outside, followed by a walk along the iconic Calle Madero, the first pedestrian street in the historic center. Afterward, you will ascend to the Torre Latinoamericana, where you will have plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photos from the top. Your tour continues to Mexico City's Chinatown, followed by a visit to the lobby of the Palace of Fine Arts and the historic Postal Palace.
