Description
Come explore Mexico City’s Historic Center from a local’s perspective!
We’ll spend about 1.5 hours walking through Centro Histórico, discovering some of the area’s most interesting streets, buildings and hidden stories. Along the way, I’ll some history, fun facts, local gossip and stories about Mexican culture and everyday life.
NOTE: This is not a traditional history tour or a long historical lecture. Instead, history is part of the experience as we walk, explore and chat. You’ll still learn plenty about Mexico City and the events, people and traditions that helped shape the city, just in a much more relaxed and entertaining way.
After exploring the area, we’ll head to one of the oldest cantinas in Mexico City, where we’ll sit down for authentic Mexican food and drinks. This is a chance to try local flavors, relax, and enjoy some good conversation.
My goal is for the experience to feel less like following a tour guide and more like having a local friend show you around their city.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of Mexico City, some stories to take home, and most importantly a very full stomach!
