In this workshop led by Carlos Garza, you will craft your own .925 silver ring from scratch. Unlike typical tourist workshops that provide pre-prepared materials, you will start with pure .999 silver and personally create the alloy to achieve .925 fineness—the standard for sterling silver.

You will be guided through each step of the professional jewelry-making process, including measuring, alloying, rolling, cutting, shaping, soldering, filing, texturing, sanding, and polishing. These are traditional Mexican jewelry techniques performed with real tools in a working workshop.

No previous experience is necessary. You will have full technical support to focus on your design and the finish of your ring. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your own finished .925 silver ring along with practical knowledge of metalworking.
