Description

Discover Mexico City's main attractions on an evening walking tour, where you can explore its historic Old Town as the buildings are illuminated, creating a unique atmosphere. Your tour begins at the Palace of Fine Arts, considered the city's most important cultural center. From there, you will walk to the Palacio Postal, a building with impressive Neoclassical architecture that houses the Post Office. You will then continue along the pedestrianized Calle Madero, in the heart of the Historic Center, taking in the architectural beauty and vibrant nightlife. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories and interesting facts about the city's most iconic buildings, such as the Casa de los Azulejos, famous for its façade decorated with Talavera tiles, and the former Franciscan convent, which is part of the area's historical heritage. You can also admire the Neo-Colonial architecture of the Hotel Zócalo, which evokes the splendor of the past. You will continue your tour, passing by the National Palace, the seat of the Mexican government and the president's official residence, before reaching the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will be able to see the ruins of the Templo Mayor, an archaeological site that was the religious heart of the ancient Mexica empire. Finally, the tour will conclude at the Torre Latinoamericana, one of the city's most iconic skyscrapers. Inspired by New York's Empire State Building, the tower offers stunning views from its top-floor observation deck. If you choose the option with admission, you will be able to enjoy this full panoramic view. If you prefer the tour without tickets to the viewing deck, you can still admire the beauty of the Torre Latinoamericana from the outside. This tour is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the history and culture of Mexico City while exploring its main monuments and plazas in an evening experience that showcases the city's magic.
