Description
Nature Therapy in Mexico is inspired by Japanese forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku) and aims to harness the physical and mental health benefits of natural settings like forests. The experience incorporates mindfulness practices to create a holistic connection with nature.
Participants follow a structured methodology that includes guided meditation, reflective exercises, and group dialogue. The primary goal is to help participants disconnect from daily routines and gain the scientifically supported benefits of nature, such as stress reduction and increased well-being.
The sessions take place outdoors at locations including Chapultepec Forest, Xochimilco Ecological Park, and Bicentennial Park. Each session is led by a certified facilitator and lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours.
