Description
The tour begins at El Moro cafeteria with a tasting of Coyoacán’s famous churros and hot chocolate. Participants read Frida’s earliest letters, written before meeting Diego Rivera, while examining portraits from 1925 to 1930 via digital devices.
Next, the group walks to the church, main plaza, and the building where the painters were married. Here, letters and confessions penned up to 1948 are read, revealing reflections on several paintings.
The tour concludes with a stroll through the local market, admired by Frida for Mexican gastronomy, and a view of the Casa Azul facade where she composed her final poems.
Note: This tour does not include entry to the Frida Kahlo Museum due to ticket availability challenges. Booking museum tickets after 12:00 pm, once the tour ends, is recommended for those wishing to visit independently.
