The tour begins at a large market featuring exotic fruits from around the world, pre-Hispanic foods, Spanish tapas, cheeses, and various meats. Enjoy refreshing exotic waters made from unique ingredients.
Next, visit a traditional pulquería to try natural or aged pulque, a beverage deeply rooted in Mexican culture.
Stops continue at an iconic taquería specializing in cochinita pibil tacos, followed by a historic churrería offering freshly made churros and taco al pastor.
You will then visit a traditional bakery known for sweet bread, artisanal cookies, and homemade jellies. Additional tastings include suadero and campechano tacos—precursors to the U.S. street taco—and a traditional torta (Mexican sandwich) at a local tortera.
