Description
On day one, you will depart Mexico City for Paso de Cortes. Upon arrival, you will register and then proceed to the Altzomoni Hut. An acclimatization walk to the first mountain pass follows before returning to the hut for dinner and an early rest.
Day two starts early with a 2:00 AM departure for the summit. After approximately 10 hours of hiking, you will reach the peak around midday. After a rest to enjoy the views, you will return to the hut and then be transported to Amecameca for a hot meal.
