Description

Step into one of Mexico City's most electrifying celebrations with this exclusive private walking tour through the historic center during Día de Muertos. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide dedicated entirely to your group, you'll witness the city transformed — marigold-carpeted streets, towering altars, and face-painted revelers filling the very squares where ancient Aztec ceremony once unfolded. Begin at the architectural jewel of Palacio de Bellas Artes, wander the flower-filled Alameda Central, and pause at the tile-clad Casa de los Azulejos before reaching the Zócalo at the height of the festivities. Explore the Aztec ruins of Templo Mayor, contemplate the colonial grandeur of the Catedral Metropolitana, and finish inside the Palacio Nacional among Diego Rivera's epic murals. This 3-hour private tour connects Mexico's pre-Hispanic soul to its living Day of the Dead traditions in the most iconic setting imaginable.
