Burrito Amor was born when husband and wife Cameron and Paula first fell in love with Mexico in 2010, and in particular the culturally rich, fresh food and lifestyle of Mexico's West Coast.
A new level of healthy food.
So inspired they were, that on a whim in the middle of one ordinary Tuesday night, they booked flights, packed their bags, and moved to Mexico. In the process entrusting to their brilliant staff both their formal 'white tablecloth' restaurant and their cocktail & jazz bar.
They left behind all things serious in search of a new way of eating and living.
The goal was, and still is, to create something more relevant to today's diner - something clean, fresh, conscious, healthy, accessible and relaxed, while always remaining authentic to Mexico's cool vibe and culture. And so, Burrito Amor was conceived.
5 years of eating and playing throughout Mexico (and 3 children) later, and Burrito Amor was born, opening in the enchanting town of Tulum, located on Mexico's breathtaking Caribbean coast.
Shortly after opening, Cameron and Paula learned that one of their children had severe food allergies, giving them an insight into how inaccessible today's restaurants, and supermarkets, are to the growing number of our population with dietary restrictions, whether such restrictions be medically or personally imposed.
This insight inspired Burrito Amor CLEAN EATING. A concept that represents a new level of healthy, fresh, conscious, and super clean restaurant-quality food and beverage.
