Description

Explore Puerto Morelos, a quaint fishing town, on a guided tour. Sample three different taco types and take part in a professional tequila tasting session. Start with pickup from your hotel in Cancún. Work up your appetite as you arrive in Puerto Morelos, where you will savor delicious fish tacos right by the beach in one of the town's best restaurants. Next, try what locals call tacos de canasta, a popular comfort food. Served from a large basket, the soft, tasty tacos are usually filled with stews. Then, explore the Flea Market and try some delicious Maya tacos. Enjoy the most popular regional variation of the taco, cochinita pibil, which a slow-roasted marinated pork traditionally prepared in an earth oven. Finally, enjoy a complete guided tasting of a variety of different tequilas. Take some time to explore the main plaza of the town, before heading back to your accommodation.
