The islanders of Isla Mujeres are already preparing the shows to welcome thousands of tourists in the incomparable carnival of this region that takes place year after year, a party full of colors, music and joy. For several days, the streets will be filled with entertainment; there will be comedy shows, costume contests, music and dances by regional groups, the queen of diversity will be crowned and there will be a night of masks and much more!
From February 4 to 21, let yourself be carried away by the rides of the 'Soy Caribe Carnival', which travels through the main streets and avenues of the state. Live this experience in one of the favorite islands of Quintana Roo, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, enjoy its gastronomy and diverse cultural and aquatic activities.

How to get to the Carnival?
There are five different ports in Cancun from where a ferry leaves to Isla Mujeres, the trip takes about half an hour. Here are more details:
Puerto Juarez
Departures from this point start at 6:00 am and the last return ferry leaves at midnight.
El Embarcadero - Blvd.Kukulcan km 4, Hotel Zone
Departures start at 9:15 am and the last ferry back is at 9:15 pm.
Playa Tortugas - Blvd.Kukulcan km 6.5, Hotel Zone
Departures start at 9:00 am and the last ferry back is at 21:15 pm.
Playa Caracol- Blvd.Kukulcan km 9.5, Hotel Zone
Departures start at 9:00 am and the last ferry back is at 17:15 pm.
The car ferry to Isla Mujeres
Departures are from the Punta Sam terminal at kilometer 8.16, approximately every three hours this ferry departs. It has a schedule from 7:30 am to 18:00 pm.
(Ferry schedules and frequencies may be modified by the service provider without prior notice).
On the other hand, a more sophisticated option is to arrive by plane through private flights, which depart from Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Chetumal and Holbox.
